Our Vision
Advocates for Children with Disabilities envisions a world where every child with a
disability is fully valued, empowered, and provided equitable access to high-quality education, services, and opportunities.
Our Mission
To advocate for students with learning disabilities by ensuring equitable access to education while protecting student rights and empowering families through informed support and effective educational advocacy.
Advocacy for Children with Disabilities is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing equitable educational outcomes for students with disabilities through high-quality advocacy and support services. We partner with families to ensure they understand effectively exercise their educational rights, including navigating Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) & 504 Plans.
Our organization provides a variety of educational services for students with learning disabilities.
These services include but are not limited to the following:

Provide critical review of academic evaluations and school records.

Represent families in school and during disciplinary meetings.

Connect students to resources that support academic success.

Ensure schools comply with all applicable state and federal education laws.

Promote accountability and improved outcomes for students with disabilities.

Assisting Parents in understanding special education vocabulary.
